Mjolk will be hosting their third retrospective exhibition of Oji Masanori during the 2016 Toronto Design Week Festival. This year is particularly special because Mjolk has commissioned a collection of tableware and lighting designed by Oji Masanori to be produced in collaboration with local Canadian artisans and small manufactures.

Oji Masanori is without a doubt one of Japan’s most important and internationally recognized contemporary designers. He has made a career translating the qualities and emotions of traditional Japanese handcraft into relevant contemporary industrial design objects.
